Hard chrome is a lubricious surface treatment creating excellent material flow and radii formability as well as improved wear resistance. Our chrome is 67 to 69 HRc with a coefficient of friction of .33 (overall average) by an independent testing laboratory. Chrome is lubricious for excellent radii formability.
