Teikuro Corporation has been providing the world's best engineered surface treatments to the U.S. market for over 25 years. Teikuro's hard chrome expertise has been utilized on many types of substrate materials in which wear resistance, corrosion preventions, and enhanced lubricity are of concern.
Chrome Plating
Our chrome process is an inexpensive surface enhancement with a typical hardness of 67-69 Rc. Benefits include lubricity, superior wear resistance and extended tool life. We are a customer driven service oriented company that will assist you in solving your surface treatment needs.
TRD
Our TRD (Thermal Reactive Diffusion) process uses a vanadium carbide layer measuring .0001 to .0008 inches thick with a hardness of 3,200 to 3,800 vickers that greatly increase the life of forming and shearing tools used under severe working conditions.
DLC-Si
DLC-Si has a HARD Surface (Hv2500) and a uniform coating thickness even on complex shaped tools with high coating rate. Here are some advantages of using DLC-Si coating. 1. High Friction, 2. High Wear Resistance, 3. Great Seizure Resistance, 4. High Electric Resistance, 5. High Coating Rate, 6. Superior Adhesion, 7. Good Hardness (Avg Hv2500).
