Forging Industry
The forging industry is a harsh environment related to the stamping industry. For years the industry has had to rely on alternative surface enhancements to provide some form of longevity or simply resurface the forging die with the added time for these processes exceeding several weeks to perform. With the introduction of hard chrome coating to help relieve some of these constraints with a quick turn around. Some of our customers have told us that the cost is one- third of alternative coatings. Hard chrome provides exceptional benefits to the industry. It has increased production output along with reducing costly preventive measures to keep tools in service much longer. The hard chrome coating can be reprocessed multiple times with little die preparation.
